Eligibility for Assam Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme
The Orunodoi 2.0 scheme is for women aged 16-59 who live in Assam and have a family income less than Rs 2 lakh. Widows, unmarried women, and Divyang members can apply. Those without a ration card but part of the National Food Security Scheme can also apply. However, if you are already getting benefits from the Indira Miri Universal Widow Pension or Deen Dayal Divyangjan Pension Scheme, you don’t need to apply. People with 15 bighas of land, family members of government employees, MPs/MLAs, doctors, engineers, architects, lawyers, income tax payers, and families owning four-wheelers, refrigerators, or tractors are not eligible.
Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme Beneficiary Status
The Assam Government’s Orunodoi 2.0 scheme provides financial aid to women and specially-abled people. Over 19 lakh people across 35 states have benefited from it. The scheme gives Rs 830 to Rs 1000 per month for health and nutrition needs. The money is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.
